Our 1st night with Genghis:
Home at around 5PM, Genghis has been playing and eating and EATING going on a walk and relaxing on the leather couches as if he has lived here longer than I. Amazing transformation from DRNT. Bear is having a hard time adjusting but we knew it would take a little time. Genghis has been trying to play with her but Bear is still hesitant. I think it will resolve itself in a few days. We are very happy with our decision. Genghis has already called this place home and he isn't going anywhere, he is acting like an 85lb. puppy. We will keep you updated and send pictures as we progress.

Just a quick note, I am in Saudi Arabia at the moment.
Genghis couldn't be happier, he sleeps in the master bed at night, goes to the Sonic drive-in with Bear and orders ice cream.
To date we have not had any accidents (he is an inside dog), he hasn't torn up anything and has generally just been the best all around dog anyone could hope for. Linda works during the day but comes home for lunch and lets him out. If he had any bad habits before we got him, he has already forgotten them. We love him dearly and he is a family member for the rest of his life.
We'll keep in touch. And yes, I do have to call him and Bear from Saudi to keep them from getting too depressed when I am gone.
