Visiting Doberman Rescue
If you would like to come to visit Doberman Rescue of North Texas, follow the set of directions appropriate to you.  Please note: WE ARE ONLY OPEN FOR YOU TO SEE THE DOGS ON SUNDAY BETWEEN 10:00 A.M. AND 2:00 P.M.

We are located in Grand Prairie, right in the middle of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, just two miles from Six Flags Over Texas and the Ballpark in Arlington, just ten miles from DFW Airport. Click here if a map will help!

From the North (H-E-B, Lewisville, Irving)
From the East (Dallas)
From the South (Mansfield, South Arlington, South Dallas, Duncanville, Cedar Hill)
From the West (Fort Worth)
From the North
From Lewisville, go south to DFW airport. Cut through the airport and at the south exit, follow the signs for SH-360 south (Arlington).

From H-E-B, go east on SH-183 toward the airport (south entrance). Follow the signs for SH-360 south (Arlington).

From Irving, go west on SH-183 toward the airport (south entrance). Follow the signs for SH-360 south (Arlington).

Go south on SH-360. Take the Carrier Parkway exit and turn left on Carrier Parkway. Go east on Carrier Parkway for just over two miles. The road will gently curve to the right until you are headed south. Immediately after you cross Johnson Creek on a multi-lane bridge you will see Rock Creek Drive on the right.

Turn right onto Rock Creek Drive and go west on Rock Creek Drive, up a gentle hill. At the crest of the hill, you will see an open lot to the left with a gravel drive leading up to a metal gate. The street number, 2021, is on the mailbox.

Turn left onto the gravel drive and go up the hill to the gate.

To open the gate, key in the access code, DOBE (3623).  This code works only on Sunday when we are open for Open House.  The beautiful Doberman in the pictures above is Cheyenne.

The gate will automatically close after you.  When you leave, the gate will automatically open as you approach.

Continue driving along the gravel drive and you will come out by our barn and house. 

From the East
Head west on I-30 toward Fort Worth. Take Exit 32, the Northwest 19th Street exit, and turn right on 19th Street. Go north on 19th Street for about a mile until it joins into Carrier Parkway. Angle left so you continue north on Carrier Parkway. Stay in the left lane and turn left onto Rock Creek Drive. Note: The turn onto Rock Creek Drive is only a few car lengths from the intersection between 19th Street and Carrier Parkway.

Go west on Rock Creek Drive, up a gentle hill. At the crest of the hill, you will see an open lot to the left with a gravel drive leading up to a metal gate. The street number, 2021, is on the mailbox.

Turn left onto the gravel drive and go up the hill to the gate.

From the South
From Mansfield and South Arlington, go east on I-20. Follow the signs for SH-360 north (DFW Airport).

From South Dallas, Duncanville, or Cedar Hill, go west on I-20 toward Fort Worth. Follow the signs for SH-360 north (DFW Airport).

Take SH-360 going north. Exit onto I-30 and go east, toward Dallas, for one exit. On I-30, take Exit 32, the Northwest 19th Street exit, and turn left on 19th Street. Go north on 19th Street for about a mile until it joins into Carrier Parkway. Angle left so you continue north on Carrier Parkway. Stay in the left lane and turn left onto Rock Creek Drive.
